Just Lodges

The last couple of months have been difficult times, in particular affecting those lodge parks who sell. Prospective purchasers do appear to have been overtaken by rental traffic on Just Lodges and who could blame them with the Government's announcement that 20% VAT would apply on all new sales. Suddenly, as an investment, lodges weren't looking so pretty.

However, that does now seem to be passed us and July traffic in the first four days of the month is showing nearly a 10% increase in traffic. We don't expect the huge leap of traffic we had last year and for us, a steady rise will be very acceptable.

Regrettably our traffic has gone down in 2013 by 12%, which is the first time this has happened since the Just Lodges website has been online. However, we have still had almost 1.2 million visits made to the website in the year and this month will see us spending more time on further optimisation of our website to attract more search engine results.

I guess all we need to do now is to hope and pray for better weather to keep holidaymakers in the UK!

During the month of November 2012 30.13% of surfers to our website used a mobile device.

During the month of December 2012 34.2% of surfers to our website used a mobile device.
